This is our "go to" restaurant for gatherings. It offers the best in country atmosphere, down-home shopping, and comfort food. Ahhhh, that comfort food. Cracker Barrel is really good at dishing it up, and keeping prices low enough to entertain a bunch of people at a time. Of course, we go there in twos and threes, too, but not enough for it to qualify as our local "go to" eatery. CB usually positions itself at points of ingress and egress to limited access highways, so, it's a great place to meet or go to when traveling. No alcoholic beverages.
You can never go wrong with good, inexpensive food. If you are in need of some good comfort food, this is your place. The staff here is always friendly, the food arrives timely and the place is always clean. Do not let a full parking lot discourage you. I have never add to wait longer than 10 minutes to be seated.
Absolutely horrible. Had to get four sets of silverware. Every set was filthy. The server never came back to check on us and and ask if everything was okay. She actually forgot about my Mom's baked sweet potato. With that said, we took it home with us. I would not recommend this place at night. I think the service during the day is better... At least with Tracy as your server it will be. She is amazing and always took care of us. We won't be returning anytime soon, which is so sad considering we used to be regulars.
The amount of food you get for the money is a incredible deal. All the food was fantastic. Nice little shop you walk through to get to the dining area. Would have rated it higher but there was lack of attention to the cleanliness of the floors and the bathroom. The tables were all kept clean and the fire place was very nice. The wait staff was about average service was good but nothing exceptional.
It's what you would expect for a Cracker Barrel. This one is clean, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. There usually isn't much of a wait, even with a larger group. And even if there is a short wait, there's plenty of interesting things to browse through in the gift shop. Would definitely recommend the dumplings. The next best thing is that they serve breakfast all day.
