Great trails, although they could be marked better, more frequently. We ended up doing 8 miles on the yellow trail because we took a wrong turn because we were unsure of where we were on the map vs. trail marks. Wear good hiking shoes, a good portion of the trail has small rocks underfoot. Great views of the lake and damn. I've learned that the green ball thing in my photos is a type of Orange! But only the seeds are edible!
Love the park. It's always clean and we'll watched over. Came had fun did what I came todo with no problem here.
Awesome place to do a little mountain biking! They have great trails off of Chalfont Rd. from there you can work you way towards the dam. Can easily put together 15 miles of riding here. The lake offers good fishing as well as sailing, SUP and kayaking!
Beautiful and clean. Its still and quiet in the morning and lots of wildlife can be seen. The one launch is open 24 hours.
This is a really nice place to go by yourself, with a significant other, or with the family. You can swim you can rent all types of boats from canoes to paddle boats to kayaks to windsurfers Etc. Visually it's a very beautiful place to visit. There is also a public swimming pool there that costs a modest fee of about $5 to enter. Many people also go to have picnics with their family and friends. There is plenty of parking, restrooms, and picnic tables and grills for outdoor cooking.
